About
Laura Kenney (she/her/hers, or they/them/theirs), is a writer of poetry, nonfiction, and experimental texts; a film and digital photographer, conceptual artist, and occasional sculptor; and a Sagittarius/Scorpio cusp. She can often be found traipsing around the Lower East Side of NYC eating ube ice cream for dinner, testing her local libraries’ checkout limits, and getting into things she’s probably best not getting into.
In addition to her literary and artistic practices, Laura has also worked in arts nonprofits in communications, and dreams of one day finding a way of (secretly) living inside of the Whitney Museum of American Art. Laura is a current student of Literary Arts (Cross-Disciplinary Honors) and English Nonfiction at Brown University in Providence, RI. She will graduate in May 2019, and from there plans to pursue an MFA in writing beginning in 2020.
